Bronco Storage has been providing the most convenient and affordable storage solution to Santa Clara University students for the over 20 years as an independent company that is not affiliated with or controlled by Santa Clara University. The best part about Bronco Storage is that you don’t have to find a vehicle to carry your stuff off-campus or deal with calling around and reserving a spot in some other storage location. Simply reserve with us and we’ll hold your items for the entire Summer or until you return from studying abroad.
Our storage service focuses on offering a very affordable service to SCU students. We only charge for what you store at a very low rate. For instance, if you have 2 boxes worth of stuff and don’t want to ship it home, you can store those 2 boxes with us for only $18 per month! No need to pay for a half empty storage unit.
We offer FREE boxes to all our storage customers. Packing paper, tape and bubble wrap are available for purchase when you place your reservation, at our table outside Benson, and in the Schott South Parking Lot.
Even if you are not storing with us, you may purchase boxes, packing paper, tape, and bubble wrap at our table between Benson and the Multicultural Center or in the Schott South Parking Lot during finals week.

Any students, including Graduate and Law Students, may request an appointment to drop off their items outside of the dates above. 72 hours advance notice is required.
Dollies are available to be borrowed at the service desk of each residence hall. A limited number of dollies will be available in the Schott South Parking Lot finals week during our hours of operation. Dollies are free to use for the first 3 hours, then $5/hour.

We'll deliver the empty boxes and any supplies you reserved to your dorm room or off-campus residence.

All reservations require a $20 non-refundable deposit. The $20 deposit will be deducted from your storage bill. Customers who do not make a reservation prior to Saturday, June 8th will be subject to a $50 fee.
If you use your own box, it will be charged at the medium bulk item rate.
All items smaller than 36 x 16 x 16 inches must be stored in the free boxes we provide; items larger than that can be stored and are considered a bulk item.
Items can be insured to protect against loss or damage. Purchasing insurance for an item waives the $200 deductible.
Boxes not used for Bronco Storage must be returned. Any unused boxes not returned will be charged for the cost of each box.

For On-Campus Students: No, you do not need to be present if you are leaving before 12PM on June 17th. Thanks to our close partnership with SCU, you can leave your packed and labeled items locked in your on-campus room. They will be picked up after you go home and can delivered to your new room when you return.
For Off-Campus Students: Yes, you absolutely need to be present to provide access to your residence and show us which items are yours. If you are not present, your items will not be picked up!
No. We'll pick up and store as many boxes and items that you need.

Yes, items that are bigger than largest box (36x16x16 inches), can be stored and will be charged the bulk item rates.
Yes, the mini-fridge does not need to go inside a box and would be charged as a medium bulk item. The microwave should be placed inside one of our standard (or large) boxes and we recommend including other items in the box with it.
Yes, large furniture items like a couch are stored at the large bulk item rate.
You can be comforted that your stuff is safe by these quick facts: Only Bronco Storage representatives will handle your storage once it is dropped off. Only Bronco Storage will have access to your storage items which are held at a secure temperature controlled off-campus facility. 24/7 monitoring ensures your container is safe and secure.
Yes! Although we take great care with all items, accidents do happen. Bronco Storage will not process any payment for damages that is less than or equal to $200 per Customer. If the damages exceed $200, Bronco Storage will pay damages of up to $1000 per Customer minus the $200 deductible fee. Bronco Storage expressly disclaims any liability in excess of $1000 per Customer. The $200 deductible fee can be waived if you purchase the Storage Insurance Option for any items that were damaged. You may insure your items by indicating it on the storage label when dropping off your items.
Bronco Storage will not provide coverage for easily breakable items such as glassware and mirrors, irreplaceable and sentimental items including: Airline tickets, birth certificates, checkbooks, computers, deeds, electronics, evidences of debt, family photos, fine art, jewels / jewelry, laptops, medicine, personal CDs / DVDs / video tapes, personal papers, precious metals, rare or historical items, school papers and records, stamp and coin collections, valuable documents, money or securities.
Yes! Insurance for items stored can be purchased at a cost of $1/month per Standard Box or Small Bulk Item and $2/per month per Large Box, Medium Bulk or Large Bulk Item. Any items insured must be clearly indicated on the label of the Box or Bulk Item. The insurance waives the $200 deductible that is in the basic coverage of damaged stored items. With a $1000 limit per Customer. Items damaged that were not insured will not be covered and will be applied to the normal $200 deductible.
Yes! We offer storage for study abroad students until they return. There is no need to let us know this while making a reservation. All you need to do is circle the Study Abroad option on the labels we provide.
Yes, we offer specific days for all Community Facilitators to pick up their items early in time for their training.
You will need to indicate on the labels we provide, which date you would like to get your items back so we can have them brought back on-campus when you return.
After we receive your items, you may sign in to your account to check when your items will be available. You may pick up your items on that day in the Schott South Parking Lot or pay for Drop Off Service and have them delivered straight to your new dorm room, or off-campus residence. You will need to indicate on the labels we provide, when you will return to campus so we can have your items ready.
Yes. We provide free standard and large boxes to Bronco Storage customers. All storage items must be placed in our standard or large box. Items that are bigger than largest box, can be stored and will be charged the bulk item rates.
Yes, there is no charge to cancel your reservation, however the $20 non-refundable deposit will not be refunded.
Any packing paper, tape, and bubble wrap purchased will be refunded if requested prior to June 1st. Box Delivery, Pick up, and Drop Off Services are fully refundable if requested at least 48 hours from scheduled delivery time or move-out date.

The $20 storage reservation deposit, any packing supplies, and additional services are charged immediately when reserved.
